HomeDoc is a mobile application that helps users understand official documents by:

• Allowing users to photograph or upload document images
• Processing images using artificial intelligence to analyze document content
• Providing explanations in multiple languages
• Storing analysis history for user reference

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use HomeDoc. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

While you may use HomeDoc anonymously with limited features, creating an account provides access to additional features including:

• Synchronization across devices
• Document history storage
• Subscription plan upgrades

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.3 Account Termination

• Pro Plan: 20 pages per month ($4.99/month or $49.90/year)
• Premium Plan: 100 pages per month ($9.99/month or $99.90/year)
• Max Plan: 400 pages per month ($19.99/month or $199.99/year)

5.2 Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• Annual plans provide a discount equivalent to 2 free months

5.3 Quota Usage

• A "page" is defined as one analyzed document page/image
• Monthly quotas reset on the 1st of each month
• Unused pages do not roll over to the next month
• Usage is tracked and displayed in the App

5.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription anytime through iOS Settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies
• No partial refunds for unused pages in the current period

5.5 Free Trial

If we offer a free trial:

• Trial period will be clearly stated at time of offer
• You will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel
• One free trial per user

6. Acceptable Use Policy

6.1 Permitted Uses

You may use HomeDoc for:

• Personal, non-commercial document analysis
• Understanding official documents
• Educational purposes

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload copyrighted material without permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Share your account with others
• Scrape, mine, or extract data from the App
• Use the App to create competing services
• Circumvent usage limits or quotas
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by HomeDoc and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Create derivative works
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all documents and images you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your images through our AI service
• Store analysis results in your account
• Temporarily cache images for processing

We do NOT:

• Store your original images on our servers
• Use your documents to train AI models
• Share your documents with third parties (except as required for AI processing)

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: HomeDoc does NOT provide:

• Financial advice
• Medical advice
• Tax advice
• Immigration advice

Always consult qualified professionals for important matters. AI analysis may contain errors or inaccuracies.

8.3 AI Limitations

The AI-powered analysis:

• May not be 100% accurate
• Depends on image quality
• May misinterpret complex documents
• Should not be the sole basis for important decisions

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Not Liable For:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI analysis
• Decisions made based on the analysis
• Third-party service failures (Apple, Firebase, OpenRouter)
• Internet connectivity issues
• Device compatibility problems
• Data loss

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HomeDoc, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload

11. Privacy and Data

Your use of HomeDoc is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

12. Third-Party Services

13. Updates and Changes

13.1 App Updates

14. Termination

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HomeDoc.
