Photos or images you capture or upload for document analysis
Images are preprocessed locally on your device (resized and compressed)
Important: Images are sent to OpenRouter API for AI analysis but are NOT stored on our servers
Images are temporarily processed and immediately discarded after analysis

2.3 Usage Data

Number of pages analyzed per month
Your subscription tier (Free, Pro, Premium, or Max)
App usage statistics for quota management
Analysis results (stored in your Firebase database)

2.4 Purchase Information

Subscription purchase history (managed by Apple)
We receive subscription status from Apple but not your payment details

Location data
Contacts
Browsing history
Health or fitness data
Financial information (handled by Apple)
Device identifiers for tracking purposes

We use the information we collect to:

Track Usage: Monitor your monthly page quota based on your subscription tier

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google):
- Authentication (email, Apple Sign-In, anonymous)
- Firestore database (stores analysis results and user data)
- All data is encrypted and follows Google's privacy standards

6. Your Privacy Rights

6.1 Access and Control

You have the right to:

Delete Your Data: Delete individual analyses or your entire account

6.2 How to Delete Your Account

Open HomeDoc app
Go to Settings → Account
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm deletion

Note: Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

6.3 Data Portability

To request a copy of your data, email us at privacy@homedocreader.app with your account email. We'll provide your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

HomeDoc is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. By using HomeDoc, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
